One liner –> average fare with no over-expectations
In terms of story, Abhishek delivers a honest attempt and the chemistry of all the leads work in his favor.
In terms of acting, Diljit playfully rolls along as the cute sardar looking to get married, Fatima gets her moments of glory as the stern brother's sister, a restrained lover and a DJ;
Manoj excels in a comic role effortlessly as the marriage opposing detective. In terms of song, 'Waareya' is very soothing and hummable in both the solo versions.
Execution is where Abhishek & team fail to deliver a good product. Having a good subject and good cast, the way of storytelling and the sequences both dint work well.
The supporting cast of Anu Kapoor and Supriya fails to add the needed magic.None of the other songs or the dialogues appealed that much too.
Overall, with a decent attempt and good performances from the leads, it makes a good average fare.
