Russian plane AN-26 with 28 people has gone missing
Nowadays plane crashes or missing people are cause of concern worldwide. A few days back Philippine’s plane carrying soldiers that trained recently collapsed killing 45 people. On Tuesday a Russian AN-26 aero plane went missing while 28 people on board in the Kamchatka peninsula in the northern part of the country, Government sources said.
Soon after receiving the information about the accident , search and rescue teams were going to the spot, officials said. The plane enroute from regional capital Petropavlovsk to Kachatsky to the village of Palana in the northern part of the peninsula, lost contact with air traffic control, the emergencies ministry stated. At the time of missing the plane was carrying 22 passengers and six crew members. The mishap occurred due to cloudy weather in the area, a news Agency quoted the meteorology department. Search and rescue operations are going on. All 28 people on board a decades-old passenger plane that crashed in Russia’s far east, including at least one child, are feared dead.
