Is Covid Lambda variant deadlier than Delta?
'Lambda' is most dangerous than other variants of Covid : WHO warns
While the second wave of Covid-19 cases are declining, the World Health Organisation (WHO) warns to take much more caution when new delta variant cases are in high surge in different countries. Doctors feel that at the time the virus is transforming, vaccines too may not work effectively. WHO stated that the new Delta variant is traced in 96 countries especially in southern and Latin America; these new variant cases are spreading fast every day. The Delta variant is fast spreading and shows a severe effect on children in America, it added.
The C.37 variant which is in the UK is more dangerous than previous variants, the world's biggest health organisation said. So far the world is gripped in serious concern and tension with the various variants of Covid-19 different mutations of the virus are identified by the scientists through their research.
Besides this, another variant called 'Lambda' was found in 30 countries along with Britain is cause of concern. Scientists say this 'Lambda' variant was first traced in Peru and found 80 percent infections after spreading through this Lambda virus. Countries should take all precautions to resist as this Lambda variant has several mutations, WHO suggested.
