Indian Nationals face serious threat in Afghanistan: Indian Embassy warns
The situation in war-torn Afghanistan became worse in the wake of the withdrawal of America and NATO troops. As the Taliban terrorists push forward into Afghan's premier places the security situation remains dangerous in several provinces of the country.
In this backdrop, the Indian Embassy asked its nationals living, visiting and working in Afghanistan to exercise utmost vigilance at all times. To this extent the Embassy issued an advisory for its nationals, where it also asked them to avoid non-essential travel as the security situation remains dangerous.
The advisory reads.. 'Terror groups in Afghanistan have escalated violent activities including targeting civilians. Indian nationals aren't exceptions. They additionally face serious threat of kidnapping', 'while travelling maintain distance from possible targets like military convoys, and targeted attacks which include incidents of roadside IED blasts'. it said.
Meanwhile more than 30 Taliban terrorists were killed in Afghan Air strikes on Friday.
