Google Cloud expands, second Cloud Region in India
As part of its expansion plans the renowned Google Cloud is extending its footprints in India and across Asia-Pacific with its second ‘Cloud Region’ in the country located in Delhi-NCR with an intention to serve its customers and the public sector.
With this new region, Google Cloud customers operating in India will benefit from low latency and high performance of their cloud-based workloads and data, the Company said adding that that the region will consist of three availability zones to protect against service disruptions, and offers a portfolio of key products, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Big table, Cloud Spanner, and Big Query.
The Company sees the Indian Market represents one of the fastest growing businesses globally with large customers’ growth in digital natives and in small and medium enterprises as well. Also the Company came to know that many organisations are looking to use Cloud to leapfrog technology.

This is the company’s 26th Cloud Region globally, 10th in Asia Pacific and second in India.
