One liner –> Just when you think you know it all, the movie has a layer to surprise you.. but is it enough ?
Ashok G & team bring life and thrill to a simple story and thats where the movie has its frames to shine.
In terms of acting, Bhumi nails it as Chanchal/Durgamati essaying the innocent cum spirit avatar while Arshad is easily believeable as the minister.
The dialogues are filled with hidden meanings and need a good listen.
Lack of novelty in the baseline story deprives this movie of being a classic.
One can easily relate this to Bhool-Bhulaiya where you see 'rani trapped in a haveli' types-scenes.
The horror portion felt missing here and the comedy in few scenes seemed forced.
The runtime of 155 min is a bit too much and needed better editing.
In terms of acting, Mahie Gill appears clueless while trying to be a stern cop, Jishnu can do nothing other than echoeing
Sunil Shetty's baritone and the supporting cast fails to add much impact
Overall, high on thrill quotient and power packed performance from Bhumi, this one's worth a one-time watch !
