Recreated sounds of dinosaur
Popular mimicry artiste V Hari Kishan passed away in Hyderabad on May 23. Hari Kishan (57) died of cardiac arrest when he was undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment in a private hospital. He was born in Eluru in Andhra Pradesh on May 30, 1963. He was survived by his wife, daughter and son.
Hari Kishan started his mimicry performance at school when he was eight year old. Inspired by the legendary mimicry artiste Nerella Venu Madhav and receiving appreciation from his family members and class mates, over the years he gave nearly 10,000 performances with his wonderful mimicry skills. His style of imitating dialogue delivery and voices of film personalities like late NT Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishna, Sobhan Babu, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh, made him a household name in Telugu states.
His extraordinary performance in mimicking 100 voices in an hour had brought him the title Sata Kantha Dhvanyanukarana Dureena. Hari Kishan’s skill in recreating the sounds of dinosaur from the movie Jurassic Park had created a special place to him in the field of mimicry.
Hari Kishan also acted in Telugu movies like Venkatesh starrer Jayam Manadera, Thotti Gang, Seshu, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, Subhash Chandra Bose and Evadaithe Nakenti.
